Welcome to the Cottage Grove Crime Prevention Board Website. Here you can learn about prevention board events, learn about becoming a McGruff safe house, start a neighborhood watch and get information about action you can take to prevent crime in Cottage Grove. Most of all, you can learn how to make a positive difference in our community and support our Cottage Grove Police Department.
Safety Camp- July 20th to July 22nd
The Cottage Grove Recreation, Police and Fire Departments are teaming up to encourage youth safety. During this three day camp, participants will experience and learn about a variety of safety issues including; 911, bike safety, water safety, fire prevention, and much more! They have scheduled over 30 different presentations during the 3 days. The program cost includes a team picture, DVD, t-shirt, team colored hat, lunches, snacks, water bottle, an all sport helmet, awards and more. A special thank you to the Cottage Grove Carbone's Pizza for hosting two fundraising nights for the Cottage Grove Crime Prevention Board. 15% of each night's sales over $1000 will be donated to the board. Many came to "Fight Crime and Eat Pizza" and we sincerly appreciate all those who attended these fun nights and the excellent staff at Carbone's.
